Our Programs
We offer a wide variety of affordable language immersion classes to meet the needs of your child and your schedule. Beginner, Intermediate, and Spanish for Spanish-speaker classes are available. Currently, we offer Spanish and French classes. Click on one of the language programs to the left for more detailed information.
Spanish Preschool (3 - 6 years old)
The Spanish Immersion Preschool/Pre-K program is designed to teach children (ages 3-6) a foreign language through "total immersion," while they learn skills that will prepare them for kindergarten. These skills include pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-math, and social skills. Most importantly, children will learn a second language...Spanish! 
Children are immersed in the Spanish language through songs, games, stories, play, crafts, nursery rhymes, computers, movement, and more. The focus of this class will be conversational Spanish and basic vocabulary. Themes may include: animals, colors, numbers, alphabet, daily routine, family, food, weather, calendar, basic greetings, clothing, transportation, seasons, cultural traditions and ethnic holidays.
When: Class time is 9:00am-12:00pm, two days per week. (Caldwell: Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nampa: Wednesdays and Fridays)

Spanish or French Workshops (3 - 12 years old)
Our language workshops are like the Spanish Preschool, but only one hour long and one time per week for busy families. Through songs, crafts, storytelling, activities, games, books, computer programs, conversation, and interaction your child will be immersed in the Spanish or French languages and acquire proficiency through a natural developmental approach...all while having fun!

Tuesdays: Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho, Nampa, 4:30-5:30pm
Wednesdays: Lakevue Elementary School, Caldwell, 2:45pm-3:45pm (click here to Register for this specific class with the Caldwell Parks &Recrecation Department)
Thursdays: Caldwell location, 4:30pm-5:30pm
Saturdays: Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho, Nampa, 10:30am-12:30pm
Cost: $25 per month (weekdays) $35 per month (Saturdays), $20 yearly registration fee to cover materials
Parent & Me (birth - 3 years old)
Consider it like a play date or play group, but in Spanish! Parents and children will love this weekly class taught entirely in Spanish! We will sing, make crafts, read books, play, and converse in Spanish. Kids will have fun and parents will learn Spanish right along with their children.

Foreign Language Summer Camps (4 - 12 years old)
"Passport to the World!" During our 2008 Foreign Language Summer Camps, children will learn conversational Spanish while learning about other countries and cultures through crafts, active play, art, songs, fingerplays, puppet shows, computers, games, puzzles, building sets, stories, and more!

Homeschool Groups (6 - 13 years old)
Specifically designed for homeschool children, these classes immerse children in the target language through music, crafts, games, stories, and conversation.

Spanish for Adults
Because our focus is teaching children foreign languages at an early age, we offer limited language classes for adults. Our adult classes are designed for beginners. We use an integrated immersion, vocabulary, grammar approach, augmented with a Boise-based Spanish curriculum entitled, Spanish Simplified.
